    그림 속 뿌리는 정(情)이고 불심(佛心)이다. 그 중심에 연꽃이 자리하고 있으며, 삶 속의 주인공이 되어 이야기를 펼쳐나간다. 연밭에서 펼쳐지는 장면들은 서로 부대끼며 살아가는 인간 세상 같다. 그곳에는 희망과 사랑이 팔딱거리고, 때로는 좌절도 질투도 꿈틀댄다. 진흙 속에서도 청아하고 기품있는 자태의 연꽃과 모든 걸 감싸주는 보자기 같은 연잎은 따뜻한 어머니의 품이요, 부처님의 미소다. 연꽃 그림은 선물이다.

    The root of the painting is 情 and Buddhist heart. At the center of the painting is the lotus flower, and the story unfolds as the main character in her life. Scenes unfolding in a lotus field seem to be human worlds living side by side. There is hope and love, and sometimes frustration and jealousy flutter. The lotus flower, which is pure and elegant in the mud, and the cloth-like lotus leaf that embraces everything, are the arms of a warm mother and the smile of the Buddha. A lotus painting is a gift.
