    본인은 작업의 표현대상과 창작의 소재를 자연으로 찾았으며 자연이라는 회화적 이미지를 소재로 그 감흥을 순수한 감정으로 나타내고자 한다.
    자연을 직접 보고 그렸으나 본인의 작품에는 대상물에 대한 강렬한 표현적 감흥이 담겨있다.
    선과 색채로 표현할 수 있는 최대한의 가능성을 살려 느낌 또는 극적인 주제들을 표현하고자 한 것이다.
    다시 말하면 자연의 그 강렬한 인상을 찬양하여 내면의 정서가 만들어 내는 미묘한 균형을 형상화 했다.
    그것은 자연의 질서와 구조에 관한 폴 세잔(Paul Cezanne)의 통찰력과 같은 맥락이라고 하겠다.
    이에 색채에 기반을 두어 자유로운 붓 터치와 색채의 자율성을 추구하였고 나는 색채에다 새로운 기능을 부여하여 재현적인 기능에서 색채를 완전히 해방 시키려했다.
    선과 리듬 색차와 공간이 그 자체의 자율적인 세계를 형성하여 독창적인 조형언어로 표현하여 새로운 미적 공간으로 형성하였다.
    따라서 나의 그림은 정적인 정물의 그림세계에서도, 그것이 결코 정지되거니 생명이 없는 죽은 화면이 아니고, 선이 또는 색채가 살아 숨을 쉬는 동적인 화면이기를 원했다.
    강력하고 격렬한 원색의 잔치로, 찬란한 밝은 색의 신선함을 찾는 것이다. 선은 더욱 유동적이여야 하고, 인물의 묘사는 빛과 색이 어울려 표면의 통일성을 깨트리지 않도록 효과를 주어야 했다, 단순한 처리의 바탕과 간결한 인물이 빛의 세계를 창조함으로써 우아함을 드러내도록 했다, 그러면서도 그림은 평형을 유지하여 안정감을 찾도록 하여, 누드에서 오는 아름다움을 만끽하도록 유도했다.

    It is intended to express feelings or dramatic themes by taking advantage of the maximum possibility that can be expressed with lines and colors.
    In other words, he praised the intense impression of nature and shaped the delicate balance created by his inner emotions.
    It is in the same context as Paul Cezanne's insight into the order and structure of nature.
    Therefore, I sought free brush touch and color autonomy based on color, and I tried to completely free color from the reproducible function by giving color a new function.
    Line and rhythmic color difference and space formed their own autonomous world, expressed in an original formative language, and formed a new aesthetic space.
    So my painting wanted it to be a dynamic screen where lines or colors live and breathe, not a dead screen that is never stationary and lifeless, even in the still-life painting world.
    It is a powerful and intense feast of primary colors to find the freshness of brilliant bright colors. The lines had to be more fluid, and the depiction of the characters had to have an effect so that the light and the color matched so as not to break the unity of the surface. The basis of simple processing and the concise character were allowed to reveal elegance by creating the world of light. At the same time, the painting was kept in balance to find a sense of stability, inducing them to enjoy the beauty of nude.
