    나의 작업은 일상생활 속 새로운 시선으로 포착 되어지는 다양한 형태의 공간들로 부터 스토리를 만들며 시작된다. 마치 퍼포먼스 처럼 상상으로 그 공간속에 나를 존재하게 하며 그 공간과 함께 주변 환경에 반응하며 만들어진 스토리들로 부터 회화, 일러스트, 영상, 퍼포먼스로 실행하고 완성해 나가는 작업들을 한다
    최근 내 작업의 스토리는 쇼윈도우 속 이야기들이다.
    길을 걷다 마주치는 쇼윈도우 속 마네킨들은 묵묵히 서서 그들이 바라보는 세상의 이야기들을 조용하고 낮은 목소리로 나에게 들려준다. 얼굴이 없거나 표정 없는 그들의 모습은 현대를 살아가는 우리들의 모습이다. 화려한 옷을 입고 당당하게 세상을 마주하며 서있는 듯 하지만 그곳은 그저 투명한 쇼윈도우 속일 뿐이다. 이처럼 나는 쇼윈도우 속의 소재들을 통해서 눈으로 보여지는 화려하고 아름다운 모습과 동시에 불안, 외로움, 단절된 우리들의 슬픈 모습을 오버렙 시키듯 그림으로 형상화 한다.
